It is very hard to believe that the girls are 6 months old today! 6 months ago today, was supposed to be my baby shower but ended up being a day we'd never ever forget. Our girls came early at 29 weeks gestation and spent nearly two months in the Special Care Nursery. Grace and Lily started out at 3lbs 5oz and 3lbs 4oz...they now look like "normal" chunky babies! We weighed them on our "official baby scale", the Wii Fit, and Grace is 14.1lbs and Lily is 13.9lbs! They are doing wonderfully. They have grown and changed so so much in the last 6 months. They sleep in their own room in their own cribs (well most nights), are practically holding their own bottles during feedings, are playing with and reaching for toys, have noticed their hands and feet, are rolling over with no problem and are trying like **** to crawl! Our girls are smiling and laughing and have completely melted our hearts. They are amazing. We feel so thankful and blessed to have such happy and healthy little baby girls.
